Meltdowns and Downpours

Good evening!

What a miserable, damp day. Literally this weather has literally turned on it’s head. So it was a half day for Ethan today. Just before midday we had someone decide to park across the drive. As I was going to pick him up in the car today, especially with my lower back pain being so bad.

I had to abandon that idea, and being totally honestly, I could definitely do with the exercise of walking. I bundled Elliot into the buggy, strolled up to the nursery. And low and behold the heavens literally opened on the way home.

Why does rain wet clothing feel absolutely awful? I should have really worn a coat to be honest, but I don’t really have one that fits at the moment and I’d get too hot.

After lunch, Elliot had a nap (thank the lord) and Ethan spent some time on his tablet. Now a bit of me time resulting in design work for my new business.

Short trip to Tesco to get the last minute bits for tea. We then had one of the armageddons of tantrums from Ethan. He is currently under assessments for his behaviour.

We have tried everything and had to get health visitors involved. It’s just so violent and aggressive. So after having a few toys lobbed at my head and a calmed down Ethan, Daddy arrived home to save the day! Hallelujah!

Tea done and another meltdown later. Ethan is finally in bed. It’s becoming so difficult. Elliot is so laidback in comparison. I’m off to do some hinching in the kitchen now ready for the morning as Tuesday’s are my cleaning-the-whole-house day.

Best Wishes

Welcome

Hi everyone.

Welcome to my blog. You will read everything here about my family which includes to special little boys, Ethan and Elliot. There my twins born on the same day two years apart.

Pretty standard morning today with a wake up call of 6.40am with Elliot (my youngest) shouting ‘MUM’ over and over again. Just reminds me of the famous one liner from the film Grease ‘that’s my name, don't wear it out!’

Ethan (my eldest) started nursery a couple of weeks ago, so the standard getting ready in the morning, with a few ’i’m tired’ thrown in.

So with the morning chores ticked off the to-do list, it was time for the run-up to the nursery, this is a mission itself in the mornings. What is it that every parent thinks that the highway code and common courtesy doesn't apply to them! The traffic outside schools is awful because everyone is in such a rush. When are we going to slow down with life.

Anyway, Ethan all dropped off, Elliot and myself decided hobby-craft would be a good place to head. I’m currently sorting the boys birthday invitations as it’s there birthday at the end of October.

So just sat down again after the hoovering and Elliot glued to CBeebies in a bid to write my first blog post ever!

Anyway, I hope to fill the blog with the journey of my motherhood!

I hoped you enjoy reading it.

Best wishes
